Currently our flock of ewes consists of fullblood Dorper ewes, purebred Dorper ewes, and some percentage Dorper ewes. All of these ewes are easy to handle and good mothers. They often produce twins and occasionally a set of triplets. We also have a few wool-cross ewes that when bred to our fullblood Dorper rams produce 50% Dorper lambs.

Our fullblood and purebred ewes are traditionally Dorper colored with white bodies and black heads. The percentage ewes sometimes have more black on their bodies. When this group of ewes is bred to our full-blood Dorper rams the lambs produced are fullblood Dorpers, purebred Dorpers and percentage Dorpers. Please visit the American Dorper Sheep Breeders' Society website at http://www.dorper.org/ for more information about Dorper sheep. We are current members of this association.

Dorper ewes are non-seasonal breeders so we almost always have a nice selection of weaned Dorper lambs for sale. Please see our Sheep for Sale page to see what Dorper sheep for sale we have available now.
